relies on the health of our land and environment to be
successful, our family knows how important it is to protect
our land, water and air. We work closely with outside consultants
including environmental engineers, nutrient management
specialists, agronomists, nutritionists, waste management
specialists, conservation planners and the University of
Wisconsin to ensure that we develop and implement best
management practices for protecting our environment.

Working with the University of Wisconsin on Soil Sensor Research
Larson Acres has worked closely with the University of Wisconsin over the years to help advance the science of farming. Our most recent project involves soil sensors which measures soil moisture and keeps nutrients in the root zone of the crop.
Working
with our nutritionist to control phosphorous
in the diets to protect the environment
At Larson Acres, animal nutrition is a priority, but so is protecting the environment. That is why we go the extra mile to ensure that the diet our herd receives is low in phosphorous.
